Message from Administration
The celebrations continue at Lisbon! Thanks to our wonderful and dedicated technology teachers, Kristen Bennett , LES has earned the CS100 Award for committing to reach 100% of our students with Computer Science education. We encourage you to ask your child about what they have learned this year during their dedicated technology class.
April 4th was National School Librarian Day! Our amazing school librarian, Stephanie Hastings, is an invaluable member of our school staff. Not only does she manage the library collection, with the help of our outstanding media paraeducator Kathy Patrick, they also teach our students literacy, research, citizenship, technology, and critical thinking skills. They put care into making sure that our school library is an inviting space for all of our students and encourage a love of reading!
Lastly, we would like to say a big THANK YOU and celebrate all of our volunteers! Our volunteers do so much to help our students and teachers. From Walking Wednesday, to community events, and PTA, we could not offer so many of these amazing programs and extras without you!
We look forward to a great fourth quarter as we end the year strong!
Mrs. Anoff, Principal
Mr. Scobie, Assistant Principal
