A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's Glow Run. It was a stunning success, raising over $1,500 towards the purchase of new snowshoes! We had a fantastic turnout of both students and staff. It was great to be outside enjoying the crisp early evening fall weather. Thank you to our event organizer, PE teacher, Mary McCauley. We also appreciate the support and sponsorship of our PTA, who supplied glow necklaces, snacks, and water. I think that this may become one of our favorite events.
Looking ahead, remember that there is no school tomorrow for students. Teachers will continue their professional learning with time spent both at PES and Woolwich Central School, where they will attend literacy and math sessions.
Finally, we're looking forward to seeing you at our Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 15th. We are expecting quite a crowd this year! The first group of students, Pre-K through Second grade will begin lunch at 11:30. Please be patient with us, as the line may be long. Our Central Office servers will be doing their best to get everyone their meals quickly. Thank you to Miss Anna, Miss Faye, Miss Nicole, and Mr. Nick for the cooking, set up and clean up for this large group.
THANKSGIVING FEAST AT PES
Your child is invited to bring a special guest to join us for lunch on Wednesday, November 15th. Students are invited to join their younger PES sibling and are welcome to share their special guest. Meals need to be pre-ordered. If you haven't already ordered, please contact the office if you plan to attend.
