Mill Valley Weekly
March 16th, 2023
Hello Mill Valley Families,
As promised, we have some exciting updates and pictures on the progress of our Music & Art Playground sculptures! In February, students worked with our Artist in Residence, Marina Lee, on plaster work and wet sanding the giant sculpture. Since then, it has been sprayed with fiber glass and primed. Today, the base layers of paint are going on! Each class gets to add color to this incredible project. Tomorrow, students from other classes will be working on the smaller designs which go on top of the base coats. What an exciting experience this is for our students!
Sincerely,
Robin Schrot, Building Principal
Allyce Harris, Associate Principal
