Class Visits:
Here is the Book Fair Class Visit Schedule
If there is a conflict with the schedule, please let Ilana know. We had to work with times the PTA had volunteers to be at the book fair.
Class visits begin Friday, September 15th through Wednesday, September 20th.
Students may purchase books during the class visits if they wish. All students will be receiving a free book, so everyone will leave with something.
Book Fair Visits:
Students may visit the book fair before school (during breakfast time) and at the end of the day (3pm until after dismissal). Students may quickly go to make a purchase during the school day, but they must have (1) have money to purchase and (2) have a pass to the bookfair to come and make a purchase. If they do not have a pass from the teacher, the bookfair volunteers will send them back to class.
Media Classes:
All media classes from September 15th through September 22nd will take place in the classrooms.

PTA News
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the big event, which will take place from September 15-22 in the Media Center:
Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.
The MHES PTA will be hosting an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, September 21, from 6:30 to 7:30pm. You will have the opportunity to enjoy ice cream and also shop at the Book Fair during that time.
All teachers are granted a $5 off $20 coupon to redeem at the fair.
Create an eWallet and a Teacher Wish List, so students’ families can donate to help stock classroom shelves. Send all Teacher Wish Lists to greenlee.erin@gmail.com for distribution via the PTA mailing lists, etc.
Fill out shelf talkers recommending their favorite books to students and their families at the fair.
