Chalk It Up & Dream Big!
Intermediate art students participated in Chalk It Up, San Antonio virtually through Artpace and TeamWorks to collaboratively complete our original chalk mural representing this year's theme Dream Big! The dream we all share for the future of our community is for everyone to have food so they can be healthy, happy, and safe. The title of our work is Panza Llena, Corazon Contento in celebration of Hispanic Heritage. Full belly, happy heart.
Congratulations to our Spanish Spelling Bee Participants and Winners!
We are so proud of you!

Third Grade Terrific!
Homework lunch bunch, science labs, Reading Cafe, and more APEX fun with Mrs. Ransleben and Mrs. Secrest’s classes!
Mrs. Creswell and Mrs. Coon's classes doing fun book Thursday - reading around the room! They also worked on their fancy figurative language writing with onomatopoeia. They channeled their inner super hero to create a comic.
Fourth Grade Fun!
Mrs. Stanush's and Mrs. McDougald's classes had great fun on the field trip to the Red Barn in Seguin. Students have also enjoyed learning and using science tools!
Mrs. Soto and Mrs. Englke’s classes enjoyed the day at the Big Red Barn. Mrs. Soto’s class dreams of a Drug Free Life during Red Ribbon Week!
Fifth Grade Fantastic!
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, the students in Mrs. Boruff's class learned about "Alebrijes" through different genres. At the end, they created their own Alebrije, and wrote a story about their pet turning in to an Alebrije.
Hands on fun happening in Mrs. Germann's Science classes through our electrical circuits lab and roller coaster mania lab!

Don't Throw Away Your Car Tags!
If you lose your initial family tag issued in 2022-2023, you will need to purchase an additional tag for $5 for the 2023-2024 school year.
Incoming third graders with no siblings at the Intermediate and "new to LV" students will receive their first car tag at no charge.
