It is hard to believe that March is already here and we are about to wrap up our third quarter of school in just a few short weeks. As we head into March, things are beginning to get a little busy here at Parkway. Here's a glance at some important dates and upcoming events:

• March 4: Deadline to purchase tickets to the Candyland Ball (Daughter Dance)
• March 11: The Candyland Ball (Father/Daughter Dance) 6 pm - 8 pm
• March 12: Small Cakes Spirit Day! Stop by Small Cakes in Bryant enjoy a tasty treat while helping the Parkway PTO. Our school will get a percentage of the proceeds from sales on Saturday!
• March 15: General PTO Meeting at 6 pm in the PES Cafeteria! Please join us if you are interested in being a part of our PTO!
• March 14 - 18: Celebrate Specials Week! Rather than having several different weeks of activities in March to celebrate Music in the Schools Month, National Youth Art Month, Sportsmanship Day, Read Across America Week and Solar Week - we decided to celebrate them all in one week! March 14 - 18 Parkway will observe Celebrate Specials Week and touch on all of the events. See the flyer below for a summary of each day's activities.
• March 17: Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held between 2 pm - 7:30 pm. Teachers will be scheduling appointments to meet with you regarding your child’s progress. We will have both onsite and online options available for conferences. Please note that students will be dismissed early that day. Parkway students will dismiss at 1:45 pm. Please plan for your child to be picked up from school by that time or for their bus to arrive early at its stop that day.
• March 18: No School for students. Teachers will be attending professional development.
• March 21- 25: Spring Break (No School). School will resume on Monday, March 28 at the regular time.

If you have a child that will start kindergarten next year, please check out the district website for information on registration. Online registration will open on March 9 at 8 am. If you are not able to register online, you can register in person. In person registration will be held on the Bryant High School Campus in Building 1 March 9 from 9 am - 2 pm and March 10 from noon until 6 pm. Please note - In person registration will take place at a central location. Please do not bring registration documents to Parkway on March 9 & 10. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions.
