The Gladiator Gazette
May 1st Newsletter - Lyman B. Goff Middle School
Message from Mr. Bergeron
Gladiator Nation,
We be holding our state science testing this week for our 8th grade students. Testing will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please help ensure your child has a full night of sleep prior to testing. As a reminder, all students will have RICAS Math testing on May 16th and 17th.
I want to remind families that we begin the school day at 8:00 am. Students are allowed in the building at 7:55 am unless they are attending for breakfast. We have seen an increase in the number of students who are showing up to school late. Please be sure to speak with your child about the importance of arriving on-time.
Lastly, I hope to see our families at the May Arts Night this Wednesday at Jenks/JMW (350 Division St Pawtucket, RI 02860). The event will open at 5:30 pm and will run until 8:30 pm. Our Goff students will be showcased throughout the evening along with artwork displayed in the hallways. Specific information regarding performance times is below.
Thank you,
Matt
