Julianne Johnston is excited to have the students of Longmont Estates join her for the 4th annual Wish Week! Wish Week is her senior capstone project at Silver Creek High School. The fundraiser supports Make-A-Wish Colorado in their mission of granting life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Julianne is passionate about this project because she had her own wish granted to go to Germany after surviving stage 3c melanoma, a type of skin cancer. On Monday, as part of our Wish Week, we will be showing a free movie, Encanto, for students to enjoy from 3-5pm in the gymnasium. Students MUST bring a signed permission slip to participate. The permission slip can be found below. Please print it out and send it in if you'd like your child to go to the movie. Students without permission slips will not be able to stay and watch the movie. Concessions will be for sale at the movie, so please send money with your child if you'd like them to be able to get a snack. All proceeds from concessions sales go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

LEE teachers will be getting together toward the beginning of May by grade level to place students in next year’s classes. Click here for an optional questionnaire that can be used to help teachers in placing your child next school year. If you choose to fill it out, please have it back to school by Friday, April 22nd.

St. Vrain’s Unframed Student Art Show will be held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds from April 12-17. The event is free and open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. There will be a special artists' night open house celebration on April 14 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. We look forward to celebrating our dedicated art students and teachers representing all of our schools across the district.
