BCS Bond Update
Our planning for the first phase of our bond is ramping up. We have collected and opened bids for our phase 1 projects that will begin once school is out in early June. Some of the events to take place this summer are the demolition of C wing at the elementary building. At the MS/HS, we are updating the HS locker rooms, the HVAC in the gym and locker rooms, electrical panels throughout the HS, lockers, and bleachers. The Board of Education will approve the awarded bids at our March Regular Board meeting.
We are already beginning conversations of our Phase 2 projects that will take place during the late summer and into the fall/winter months. The construction of our new elementary wing will be the highlight of this phase.
Check back next month to get more updates about our school's bond work!
