Meditation at Hellstern
Last week 6th grade health welcomed Mr. Dennis McDonald to teach a primetime extension about meditation to an interested group of students. Mr. McDonald is grandfather to one of our 6th graders, owner of Tactile Living, and has been meditating and studying about meditation for nearly 50 years.
Thank you Mr. McDonald for bringing a new relaxation and mindfulness experience to our students.

What you need to know about the tailgate.....
Ticket sales are over Tuesday, OR if we run out of tickets. All proceeds are being donated to Metavivor to support metastatic breast cancer research, support, and awareness.
Sign up Genius to donate food, this helps increase our donation to metavivor.
Students will stay at Hellstern for activities after school. We will go over together at 5pm.
*If a family is going to stay for the Central football game, parents can check students out from the student section (in person only) at HarBer Stadium at 5:45. OR
*If a student is going home from the Hellstern game we will walk them back over to HMS at 5:50pm. Please plan on getting your student at the 6th grade side of the building (farthest from the stadium) at 5:50pm.
***If it rains, we will postpone until Nov. 2nd!
