Thank you to everyone that contributed to the candy drive! This candy was donated to the Springdale Police Department for their Trunk-or-Treat event.

Remember - if your student is in 6th grade, he/she switched wheel classes on Monday. The wheel consists of Health, Careers, Music & Art.

Do you ever ask your child about his/her day and you get a shoulder shrug? or "it was fine"? If this is the case, use these questions to ask your child about school - let's get them talking!

History 7 - Which of the three regions of colonies was the most profitable?

ELA 7- What was your narrative story about?

Acc. Math 7 - How can you tell if data is proportional in a table? How is it different if not?

Math 7 - 2-(-8)= Answer is 10

Language Lab 7 - Why do misplaced and dangling modifiers cause confusion?

Ticket sales are over Tuesday, OR if we run out of tickets. All proceeds are being donated to Metavivor to support metastatic breast cancer research, support, and awareness.

Students will stay at Hellstern for activities after school. We will go over together at 5pm.

*If a family is going to stay for the Central football game, parents can check students out from the student section (in person only) at HarBer Stadium at 5:45. OR

*If a student is going home from the Hellstern game we will walk them back over to HMS at 5:50pm. Please plan on getting your student at the 6th grade side of the building (farthest from the stadium) at 5:50pm.

***If it rains, we will postpone until Nov. 2nd!

Each week we will feature staff from Hellstern so you can learn a little more about us! You can see us when we were in middle school and now:)

Instructional facilitators support teaching and learning across the building. They help teachers plan lessons, organize units of instruction, and create and teach primetime lessons. They also research best instructional practices, create professional development, and help the school in any way necessary.
