It's hard to believe that it is almost time to start school! We are beyond excited to welcome everyone to campus. We hope you have had time this summer to relax, have fun and spend some quality time with friends and family.

Our custodial and maintenance staff have worked diligently this summer getting the campus ready for YOU! Their love and compassion for staff and students show in every detail on campus. Our teachers are preparing classrooms and lessons for their new students. They can't wait to meet every smiling face, from our kind-hearted students to our awesome parents. Our PTO has planned many fun events for students and volunteer opportunities for our families. It's going to be a fabulous school year!

As we continue with the expectation of excellence, our staff is dedicated to building positive relationships with students and challenging students academically. Lee SHINES!

School Supplies

If you ordered school supplies through 1st Day School Supplies, your supply box has been delivered to your homeroom teacher. If you still need to get your supplies, here is the link to the school supply list.

PTO Pop Up Boutique

Lee PTO will open up their spirit store for you to purchase your Fox gear. The PTO Spirit Store is located in room 102. The first door on the left in A hall.

Kona Ice

Kona Ice will be available for you to purchase and enjoy during your visit to Lee. Stop by and enjoy a sweet treat!

Transportation

Our transportation department will be available to answer all of your bus route questions. Visit them in the cafeteria.

Caddo Mills Education Foundation

Stop by their booth in the cafeteria to learn how this organization approves grants that enhance the education of our Foxes.

Arrival

The doors open at 7:25 am. Pre-k and kindergarten car riders will be welcomed to school in the front drive through. First, second, third and fourth grade car riders will enter in the side drive through. Please remain in your cars. No one will be allowed to park and walk their students to the door. ALL students will be received in the car line. If you are a family with multiple students in various grade level drop off locations, only ONE drop off is needed per family. Use the youngest siblings drop off area. (Ex: If you have a kindergartener and a third grader, you will use the front drive thru as their drop off location.)

Parents will be allowed to walk their children to their classroom(s) the first two days of school. (August 18-19). Starting Monday, August 22, students will walk to class independently. Parents will remain in their cars in the dropoff line.

Dismissal

School is dismissed at 3:25 pm. Pre-K and kindergarten car riders will be dismissed from school in the front drive through. First, second, third, and fourth grade car riders will be dismissed on the side drive through. Please follow signage for directions of line formations. Use the youngest siblings pick up area for multiple siblings. Car rider signs will be provided. Please display them clearly on your vehicle windshield and keep them there until your child is loaded in the vehicle. Please do not line up prior to 2:40. No walk ups. Please do not block the crosswalk.

See the map below for specific details on traffic flow. Friendly reminder: No cell phone use in the car line to ensure safety for all. It's the law.

Each month, we will focus on a specific character trait. Mrs. Hogan provides daily announcements regarding that trait to help the students put it in action. The trait for the month of August is Honor. The parent newsletter is also attached.

• School starts at 7:55 am and ends at 3:25 pm
• Tardy bell rings @ 7:55 am

Children not in the building by the 7:55 am bell are considered tardy. Please refer to our student handbook regarding our tardy policy. If your child is tardy, please do not drop your child off. For their safety, your child should be signed in at the office.

• If your child is absent, please send a note to the office by 3:25 pm on the day that they return.

• Please bring tennis shoes everyday for P.E.
