An important change is taking place for 6th - 12th students in the IN-PERSON ALTERNATING Day Schedule. To make it more consistent, easier to follow, and to improve teacher-student contact time, Mondays and Wednesdays will be Black scheduled IN-PERSON days. Tuesday and Thursday will be Gold scheduled IN-PERSON days. Fridays will alternate between Black and Gold.

The following Fridays are BLACK scheduled IN-PERSON days.

• October 23rd
• November 6th
• November 20th
• December 11th.

The following Fridays are GOLD scheduled IN-PERSON days.

• October 30th
• November 13th
• December 4th.

There are a few ways to order picture packages this year from our new picture company, Inter-State Studios.

1. If there is a primary parent/guardian email in Synergy, an email will be sent from Inter-State Studios when proofs are available with a unique code for your student.
2. If there is no email in the system for a primary parent/guardian, you can still order a picture package at inter-state.com/order and use the order code 50983NA.
3. There will be a "last chance" proof mailed to the school when picture packages are delivered 6 weeks after pictures are completed and in the system.
4. At any given time, parents/guardians can order picture packages throughout the entire school year through the above website.

Students looking for academic support can begin attending Jog tutoring starting on Monday, October 19, 2020, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the West Cafeteria. Tutoring will focus on CORE classes. Food will be provided by Chartwells and transportation will also be available to take students home. This opportunity is for all students, both hybrid and fully virtual.

The schedule is:

• Monday - 2023 Cohort with Mr. Jacob
• Tuesday - 2024 Cohort with Mr. Steimel
• Wednesday -2021 Cohort with Mr. Rusununguko
• Thursday - 2022 Cohort with Mr. Russell

As we return from fall intersession we will begin making plans for the second semester. On Friday, October 23rd, we will send out a Google Form asking high school families to notify us if they would like to change from hybrid in-person to fully virtual or from fully virtual to in-person. Only families wishing to change their current placement will need to fill out the form. Additionally, please be aware that we reserve the right to ask students to return to in-person instruction if they are not finding success virtually.

All families must complete the form by Sunday, November 8th at 11:59 pm. No placement changes will be accepted after this date.

Some families will be receiving Pandemic-EBT cards (P-EBT). The purpose of P-EBT is to provide food assistance to families with children who would have received free or reduced lunch while attending school but are not in school due to COVID-19 restrictions. This benefit is available only to families with children enrolled in an Indiana school, and were eligible for free or reduced lunch or the school is a Community Eligibility Provision participant. The student must have participated in virtual learning, was in quarantine, or was out of school due to illness for at least 5 consecutive school days, or schools had a delayed start or school closure due to COVID-19 of 5 consecutive days or more.
