It is hard to believe that we are in the fourth quarter of the 2022-23 school year already!! It is amazing to see the strides our scholars have made this year and we are excited about what is to come!!

Thank you so much for have your scholar here on time during our IAR tests. We averaged 95% attendance March 20 - 31, 2023. Let's continue to ensure all scholars are at school no later than 8:25 am daily.

We have a unique schedule next week. Students are in the building Monday 4/3 and Wednesday 4/5. We will have E-Learning Day Tuesday 4/4 due to Election Day, there will be no students in the building. Teacher Institute is Thursday, April 6th, which means there will be no school for students and Spring Break begins Friday, April 6th.

We hope you have a wonderful spring break, and we look forward to a great 4th quarter for all students. We will resume on Monday, April 17th at 8:15 am.

Every scholar received at least one book to add to their personal library through the "Books are Fun" program.

Our scholars learned the importance of not putting people in boxes. We all have preconceived notions about others until we realize that we all have something in common.

This month’s reading strategy is Metacognition, perhaps one of the most challenging to teach. Teaching METACOGNITION is difficult but extremely necessary to help students develop critical thinking skills.
