District news at your fingertips — March 6, 2025
Roseburg Inside is published every other Thursday during the school year to provide news and resources for Roseburg Public Schools employees.
MESSAGE FROM JARED
Wonderful Roseburg team,
This week provides a special opportunity to recognize and celebrate the incredible work of our district’s classified employees. March 3-7 marks Classified Employee Appreciation Week, a time to honor those members of our staff who support student well-being and learning through a variety of roles.
Every time I visit a school, I see these education partners in action, caring for our students and making sure our campuses are safe, healthy and supportive environments. From nutrition service staff and office managers to maintenance workers and instructional assistants, these dedicated employees are essential for every student’s educational success.
Education is truly a team effort. Our mission to serve students would not be possible without the hard work and heart that our classified staff bring to our schools every day. Please take a moment to read our School Board’s resolution in honor of our classified employees, and be sure to thank them for their service to our students, families and community — this week and every week to come.
I am grateful for all of our employees for continuing to focus on what matters — the success and futures of the amazing students we have the privilege of guiding and serving.
Sincerely,
Jared
