After studying inventors in 5th grade ELA, students were able to put their creativity and problem solving skills to work by designing a new invention to pitch to their classmates.

In Social Studies, students researched information on a state to help them learn about the geography, history, culture, and economy. They presented the information using a shoebox to the 4th grade students in a "State Parade."

National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Students submit entries by October 27th to the Sunnyvale PTA where they will be judged. Some of the entries are submitted to the Texas Regional PTA, Texas State PTA and (hopefully), National PTA for judging.
