RHMS is extremely grateful for the Arroyo Colorado Watershed Grant that helped provide over 1,500 native plants for our students to plant, cultivate, and become knowledgeable about. RHMS students had the opportunity to help with the planting via their respective Science classes on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. This project was funded in part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. A huge shout out to Mr. Jaime Flores and staff who delivered the plants and assisted our students by modeling planting techniques.

On Friday, December 22, 2023 the RHHS P-TECH campus hosted a showcase where all district employees were provided the opportunity to see the various pathways and opportunities available to our HS students. The different areas district staff were able to observe included Engineering, Applied Agricultural Engineering, Culinary, Business Management, Law Enforcement, Health Science, Animal Science and Construction, and TSTC Dual Enrollment. This showcase was phenomenal to say the least. RHISD students have a world of opportunities at their finger tips. Thank you to RHHS administration, staff and students for this eye opening experience!
