RHHS P-TECH Showcase
On Friday, December 22, 2023 the RHHS P-TECH campus hosted a showcase where all district employees were provided the opportunity to see the various pathways and opportunities available to our HS students. The different areas district staff were able to observe included Engineering, Applied Agricultural Engineering, Culinary, Business Management, Law Enforcement, Health Science, Animal Science and Construction, and TSTC Dual Enrollment. This showcase was phenomenal to say the least. RHISD students have a world of opportunities at their finger tips. Thank you to RHHS administration, staff and students for this eye opening experience!
#ThoughtForTheDay...”Ever reached a point where a student’s tardiness, chronic absenteeism, lack of effort, or immature behavior frustrated or upset you, but when you learned their full story it broke your heart? See these behaviors as starting points, not ending points.” @casas_jimmy
“This is what teachers do. We have brief, temporary encounters with hundreds of kids a year, and yet those brief moments have permanent, lasting impacts. You may be a small part of a kid’s story, but the role you play in it is HUGE.” @bethhill2829
