Dear LES Families,
We are excited to welcome students back into School!! Tuesday, February 16, 2020 we will begin Hybrid learning, as we welcome back our Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K students will attend Monday-Thursday) and B Day (Tuesday and Thursday) Kindergarten and 1st Grade students. On Wednesday, February 17th, our A Day (Wednesday) Kindergarten and 1st Grade students will join us.
As a reminder, there will be another Parent Q&A Zoom on Wednesday, February 24th @ 3:00 p.m. if you have any questions you may have about the return to school. A zoom link will be sent closer to the date of the Q&A. Thanks.

SMCPS COVID-19 Process for Students
UPDATE TO MEALS DURING HYBRID INSTRUCTION
Virtual Only Students: Meals will be available for pick up at LES on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
DAILY LUNCH TIMES DURING HYBRID
Kindergarten: 10:45-11:15
First Grade: 12:15-12:45
Second Grade: 11:15-11:45
Third Grade: 11:45-12:15
Fourth Grade: 12:45-1:15
Fifth Grade: 1:15-1:45
In addition to these lunch times, teachers will be sharing a more detailed schedule for the day.

HYBRID INSTRUCTION SPECIALS SCHEDULE
The week of February 15th is A week.
Early Pickup - Change in Dismissal Plan
- Early pick up has to occur by 2:30 p.m. daily to allow for the front office staff to prepare for dismissal
- Please call the Main Office (301) 475-0250 x31101 to let us know when you are on the way for pick up. A staff member will bring your child to you in the vestibule area
- Please use the ‘Green Note’ (attached below) to alert office staff of early pick up (please list the time and do not forget to call when you are on your way), change in dismissal plan to include someone else picking up in the parent transport loop, alert of an absence or return from absence.
- No bus passes will be issued at this time for students to go from school to the home of others

LES Quarter 2 S.O.A.R.R. Recognition Program
Below is a S.O.A.R.R. Recognition Program with all the amazing students who we will recognized in our LIVE Zoom S.O.A.R.R. Recognition Assembly (PK-2 @ 10:00 a.m. AND 3-5 @ 11:00 a.m.) on Friday, February 19, 2021. A zoom link will be sent closer to the date of the Assembly. Thanks. . We want to thank all of our amazing students for working so hard during Quarter 2 of school! Please keep up the great work as we progress through Quarter 3. Continue to S.O.A.R.R.!:)
