Sunday and Every Day: Taking It Home
We continued the spring service project last Sunday, and learned about Florence Nightingale.
Discuss it at home:
1. What is "medicine" anyway? How do we take good care of people in our society, and how are we failing to take care of one another?
2. Our 1st Unitarian Universalist Principle is 'The Inherent Worth and Dignity of All People". How does that Principle relate to the topic of medicine and health care?
Faith in Action:
Gather up some supplies for the children's supply drive! They will be building little 1st Aid and Oral Hygiene Kits, and also are collecting snacks to donate to the Olympia Free Clinic to help feed hungry volunteers there.
Chalice Camp Registration is Open Now
Chalice Camp is our week long day camp, for ages 5-10. It's a fun week of friendship, songs, crafts, and learning about earth care and social justice. Registration is now open!
