Unit 3: Week 6 - Review
This week our class will be focusing again on the important skills covered during the last five weeks.
Here are some activities you can do with your child.
• Decide on a family member or friend to whom you will write a thank-you letter together.
• Write a short letter together to thank the person.
• Ask your child to present the letter to family members.
Discuss this checklist:
√ Review the letter. Do you tell what you are thanking the person for?
√ Speak clearly and stand up straight.
√ Ask your audience if they have questions.
Showing interest in your child’s reading, writing, and speaking will help his or her progress.
