This is an exciting time of year at WGHS! As students prepare for the school musical and Spring sports get started, we can just feel the warmer weather coming! The snow has melted and we're seeing a little bit more sun these days. Seniors are starting to realize that graduation is around the corner, and there are so many events planned for the next few months! There is going to be a lot of information to share between now and the end of the year, so please keep your eye on any emails that may be coming your way! We’ll do our best to post them to our social media outlets as well. Stay tuned!

Class of 2022 Lawn Signs
Bill Gambino Action Sports Photography will be selling Senior Lawn signs again this year. For every sign sold, Mr. Gambino is donating $1 toward our senior class events. Signs are $12 each + tax. Beauty and the Beast!
If you are interested in purchasing tickets for Beauty and the Beast you can purchase them HERE! It is sure to be an incredible show! Performances are Wednesday, April 20-Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 24 at 2 p.m.
Bottle Drive to Benefit WGHS PTSA
The West Genesee High School PTSA is having a bottle drive to raise funds to support our programs and events. This is your chance to get your bottles and cans out of your garage. We will be picking up bottles/cans in Orchard Village only as we only have enough volunteers to canvass this area. Please leave your bottles/cans by your garage before noon on April 2 and we will pick them up. All other areas of Camillus will need to drop bottles and cans off at the high school on Saturday, April 2 from 12-4. Thank you for your support!
When: Saturday, April 2 from 12-4
Where: WGHS Parking Lot between Applebee’s and West Genesee High School
We need helpers to man the truck at the high school between 12-2 and 2-4… feel free to bring a friend or family member to help!
Naviance Update!
Starting the week of March 28, students and staff will have an easier way to sign into Naviance. This is a web-based program that supports our high school students in exploring and developing post-secondary plans. Naviance is moving to a Google Single Sign-On that will allow students and staff to access their platform through the district Google account. They will no longer need to use a separate username and password.
All Naviance users for West Genesee High School will gain access via their Google Waffle, which is located in the top right corner of their Chrome Browser. Users will select the Naviance logo from Google Waffle screen to access the Naviance Login screen. This will allow easier access for students to explore colleges and careers, as well as participate in academic planning. Counseling staff each year does a seminar that is based around exploring different areas of Naviance. We encourage our students to explore Naviance on their own as well.
- Users will log into Google Chromebook or Google Chrome Browser.
- Once logged into Google you will select Google Waffle from the Chrome Browser.
- In Google Waffle select the Naviance logo.
- On the Login to Naviance screen select “CONTINUE WITH SINGLE SIGN ON”.
