Staff Update:

• Please join us in congratulating Ms. Erica Magrath who has been appointed to Grade 2 Teacher for the 2022-23 school year at South Row. This past year Ms. Magrath has taught first grade. Last year, Ms. Magrath completed her coursework as a Merrimack Fellow which she completed in Grade 3 at South Row.

• Please join us in congratulating Ms. Shannon Semenza who has been appointed to Grade 4 Teacher for the 2022-23 school year at South Row. Ms. Semenza has been at South Row School for the past three years as a Special Education Teacher where she has serviced students in grade 2, 3, and 4.

• Currently we are embarking on the interview process for an additional open second grade position, special education position, school counselor, and speech and language pathologist for the 2022-23 school year. We will communicate more information on these positions when the process is complete.

Pool Testing before April break: Pool Testing will occur Tuesday, April 12th NOT April 13th before break.

Weather: This time of the year, the weather temperatures go up and down. Please be sure to check the weather forecast and temperature so students are prepared for outdoor recess.

Meadow Farms Fundraiser

We will again be holding our Meadow Farms sale fundraiser. This year's sale will run April 11-29. Watch for packets to be coming home in the next couple of weeks.

Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

We are able to go back to our traditional themed extravaganza with the big potluck lunch this year! Mark your calendars for Friday, May 6. We will be looking for families to donate food items for the lunch and for volunteers for setup during the day and the afternoon prior when we take over the gym and decorate it.

Friday the 13th Takeback and Basket Raffle

The famous basket raffle is back! We will also be having a food truck event to give families a chance to gather for some fun, see the amazing raffle baskets, and buy raffle tickets on Friday, May 13. Friday, March 13, 2020 was the last day school was open before the pandemic, and we were wrapping up basket assembly that day. We are taking back Friday the 13th as a great day!

Movie Night

Movie nights are back! We will be having a movie night on Friday, June 3 at 6:45PM. Movie choice TBD.
