Thank you!
Dear LEEL Families-
I am happy to say that the Fall Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success!
The proceeds from the book fair will enable the library to purchase $3500 of new and exciting books for our students!
I would like to give a sincere and special "THANK YOU" to the parent volunteers who worked hard to help make the book fair possible:
Lisa Roberts, Angie Johnson, Carrie & Corbie Mescall, Holly Link, Michelle Harlow, Kathy & Abby & Sophie Ledsema, Nicole Lee, Jennifer & Landon Copp, Lindsey Keeney, Hannah Presnell, Danielle Larson, Khemara Hem, Debbie & Kennah Odom, Michelle & Lisa Flores, Maria & Bart Fetter and Tyler Roeder.
Year after year, the students continue to love the book fair! Thank you once again for making it so successful!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Brockman

Fall Festival
The LEE Fall Festival is just around the corner!
Saturday, October 26th 1- 4 p.m. at LEE
In just a few weeks your little ghosts and goblins will once again have a chance to walk down Trick-or Treat Street, join the Costume Contest, win a dessert in the Cupcake Walk, and enjoy dozens of other fun games and activities! Yes, it’s time for our annual Fall Festival.
For those who are new to our school, the Fall Festival is a feast of carnival games and competitions. It is held at the school, and students and parents are encouraged to dress in costumes. Our goal each year is to put on a wonderful, family oriented event. The Fall Festival is always such a huge success because of the support we receive from LEE!
Each game gives students a chance to win either tickets for prizes or stickers.
We will have a cardboard arcade made by our very own students!!!!!
Here are a few ways you can help make this a success.
-Volunteer to help before, during or after the festival.
We have launched a volunteer sign up. Click here to sign up.
-Donate a bag of candy for Trick or Treat Street.
Each class will be participating in a contest to see who can collect the most bags of candy. The winning class from K-2 and 3-5 will win an extra recess.
-Donate a dessert for the always popular Cupcake Walk.
The cupcake walk is a Fall Festival favorite! Please bring in your baked goods
(either homemade or store bought) on Friday, October 25th by 3:00pm

Halloween Parade
We are going to have the traditional Halloween parade and classroom parties on Thursday, October 31st. If you do not want your child to participate, please let the teacher know and we will provide alternative activities. Here are a few details around the events:
Halloween Parade - This will start at 2:00. The All Day Kindergarten students will start the parade line and other grade levels will add on as they walk by. The parade will come through the gym. This is the area that parents will be able to sit or stand and watch their child come through with the parade. Seating will be available in the gym starting at 1:45. Students will change into costumes before the parade. They are not allowed to wear costumes to school in the morning, and may only bring items that they are able to put on by themselves.
Halloween Party - Parties will start in the classroom after the parade. Please be thoughtful if you are sending in snacks for the classroom. We would like to encourage healthy options for students and please consider allergies as well.
Students ARE NOT allowed to have the following items:
*Anything bloody or gory
*Any weapons (even if they are part of the costume)
*Face paint (minimal face paint is allowed if the student can apply it themselves)
If you have any questions, please contact the office or your child's teacher.
