BOND UPDATE
As we inch closer to the end of the school year, we are ramping up our construction efforts on our bond work. At the MS/HS, we continue updating the locker rooms. The tile in the showers in both locker rooms are completed, and they are working on completing the plumbing. Lockers for the locker rooms should be arriving this month. Flooring for the second round of classrooms in the high school will be installed in early May. The second round of classrooms will be completed by the time school is out in June.
The elementary addition work has really come along in the last month. The exterior brick work is completed, classroom and hallway floors are poured, and interior walls are going up. The roof has shingles and now the focus will start to be on completing interior electrical and plumbing.
Once school is out in June, we will see work at the football field/track, MS/HS sidewalks, continued interior work in both the MS/HS and elementary schools. Work will continue through the summer months with plans to have current scheduled projects completed by the time students return in the fall. Thank you for your continued support of BCS as we continue to Learn Under Construction.

Keep the Huskies Healthy!
If your student is a close contact of someone at school who has tested positive for Covid, we recommend wearing a mask for 10 days and testing on the 5th day since contact. If your student develops symptoms, your student may test, but must stay home until symptoms are gone. Rapid tests are available upon written request (E-mail or note) of the parent/guardian and will be administered by administration.
If your student is a close contact of someone at home who has tested positive for Covid, we require the student to test for 5 days after contact in order to stay in school.
If staff/students test positive, they must isolate at home for 5 days. They may return after 5 days if they are symptom free, but they must wear a mask for the next 5 days. If choosing not to wear a mask when they return after day five, they must isolate for the full 10 days.
