Our current 8th graders are in the process of creating their 4 year plans. The College Park Counselors have been here all week visiting with our students to begin the process of registering for their classes for the 2020-2021 school year. Please take the time to talk to your student about this process. There will be another incoming freshman information night at CP on Feb. 4 starting at 6:30 pm in the CP Auditorium.

Teams are made up of 6-8 Knox students.

Parent Access Center is a great way for parents to view their child’s daily grades, attendance record with tardies, discipline issues, and many other pieces of information pertaining to student progress while at Knox. You can also add money to your child’s lunch account. I encourage you to sign up at http://www.conroeisd.net/student-parent/pac.asp. There will be a sign up station available during orientation in the library.

Tennis anyone? The Knox Tennis club is set to begin on January 23, 2020. Students who are interested must bring a completed pre-participation physical form to Coach Arnold in room 303. Physical forms are available at the Knox front office or online at the Conroe ISD website. The club will meet Thursday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. The focus will be on developing stroke technique and point play in doubles and singles in addition to fostering enthusiasm to learn a lifelong sport. Beginning players are welcome. Feel free to contact Coach Arnold at awarnold@conroeisd.net for any further questions about Tennis Club.

Knox Jr. High will host Dr. Crystal Collier for a Parent Presentation on Social and Emotional Wellness. The presentation will be in Gym A starting at 6:00 pm. We hope to see you there.
