Town Center Loves Our Veterans!

New Video Doorbell System

All CISD campuses are in the process of having a new video doorbell system installed. Town Center received ours this week, and we have begun using it. Along with other CISD campuses, our front doors will remain locked throughout the day. If you are needing access to the building, please ring the doorbell and be prepared to show your ID to the doorbell camera on the right side of the front door. Our staff will be able to remotely unlock the front door at that point.

A Note From the Coppell Gifted Association

Coppell Gifted Association is pleased to once again hold our annual Creative Writing Competition. This will be the 14th year of the competition, and we can't wait to see all of the creative student entries! As in past years, the competition is open to students in the 4th-12th grades, and the entry categories are "story" and "poem". There is no charge for Coppell ISD students to participate in the competition.

A Note From Our Librarian, Mrs. Mancuso

Our database spotlight for November is DKfindout! Through MackinVIA, learners can access DKfindout. This database allows your child to search, learn, and explore information on a variety of topics including animals and nature, computer coding, dinosaurs and prehistoric life, earth, history, language arts, math, music, arts and literature, science, space, sports, transportation and more. Dkfindout has highly visual content that captures learners' attention. There are quizzes, videos, and animations with new content added often.

Deadline Extended: CISD Family Survey

The Fall 2021 CISD Family Survey deadline has been extended. Please visit go.coppellisd.com/FamilySurveyFall21, then select your child(ren)’s school. If you have multiple children in CISD, we ask that you take the survey for each school your child attends. Please email input@coppellisd.com, if you would like to share any additional feedback or insight not covered in the survey or have any additional comments to share with the district.

Reminder: Virtual Parent University

Join the CISD Counseling Team and their partners the Grant Halliburton Foundation for a Virtual Parent University event on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. via ZOOM. “Safe! Issues Affecting Today’s Youth and How You Can Help” will focus on how to recognize and respond to a young person in crisis and share tools and resources to keep our children safe.
