Looking Back -
We spent this last week before our break reviewing the unit on energy to help students complete the assessment in USA Test Prep. We looked at some example questions that cover the topics that we have studied and that will become a key part of science knowledge for 5th grade.
Looking Ahead –
We will spend next week with an exploration of force and motion that will be our first look at physics in preparation for next year's in-depth study of those topics. We will read two lessons in the textbook (see pages below), and students should discuss review questions with their learning coach.
Don’t forget the opportunities for extra credit in USA Test Prep
There is an extra credit assignment available in USA Test Prep – 4th Extra Credit #1. Read the article (paste it in your browser) and answer some questions using your own ideas about the topic.Continue to devote one hour (or two 30 minute sessions) to Stride Science lessons each week.
