From the Principal's Desk...

Can you believe we are already to November? This school year is going by quickly! Along with time moving quickly, we are also approaching winter soon. We have really been blessed with the weather. Unfortunately, we know that all good things usually come to an end. Hopefully Mother Nature is polite to us this year when it comes to snow. With this in mind, the weather is starting to change quickly. Please make sure your child is prepared for the weather and has a warm coat, boots, hat, and gloves. Children will still go outside for recess.

This month I tend to reflect on all of the things I am thankful for. I am blessed beyond belief to be part of such a great community of staff, students and parents. I am thankful each day that I am lucky to lead a fantastic staff that gives so much of their personal time and hearts to our children each day. I am thankful for the rich culture we have here and the growth that we are all experiencing with learning how we are all different, but special. I am also thankful for the continual support of the community. Without many of you, we would not be able to continue to develop such great young minds. Take time out to reflect on what you are thankful for this season.

A tremendous thank you for the outpouring of support for Trunk or Treat this year! We had a record year of donations and a record year of those in attendance! We love the Roman community!

Students will be performing in various activities during the program. We encourage everyone to wear red, white, and blue!

Check in with your child's classroom teacher to see if your child will be receiving an award.

Thanksgiving Break - November 27th - 29th. Return on Monday, December 2nd.

Bring in your box tops!

This helps us purchase what we need for our school.

Next date to send them in is March.

Please download the new BoxTops app to help us out! BoxTops is not printing the labels on boxes anymore! This is a huge fundraiser for us. It is amazing what those little BoxTops can do for our school.
