Tuscumbia FFA has lots to celebrate! On April 19th, at the state FFA convention, Terri Barnhart, Connor Kempker, Jonah Visser, and Gracie Wieberg will get their State FFA Degrees. Congratulations to all of them!

Principal's Corner
Dear Parents and Community Members,
February is officially here, which means we are getting closer to the end of the school year. In fact, as of Monday we only have 64 school days left! I’ve said it before, but I’m saying it again — where has the school year gone?! This has been such a great year so far, and I know the rest of the school year will be just as great.
Next Friday, February 9 is progress 3. Teachers will have these grades posted by 8am on February 12. Teachers should be reaching out to you with any concerns they have with students, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to them if you have questions or concerns, too.
I know we just had a spirit week, but we have another spirit week schedule for next week to celebrate SUPER BOWL. Here are the spirit days:
Monday: Mahomes Monday -- Wear a headband, rock a mohaw, etc.
Tuesday: Travis & Taylor Tuesday: Dress like Travis Kelce or Taylor Swift
Wednesday: Winning Wednesday: Wear your favorite Chiefs gear
Thursday: Tailgate Thursday: Dress for a tailgate in Las Vegas
Friday: Red Friday: Wear all red
Please continue to send students with coats, especially if they are recess-age. Students will go out for recess if the temperature is above 35 degrees and there is no precipitation. If you need assistance with obtaining a coat for your student please contact the office as we have resources available to help with this.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I am always willing to help however I can. Stay safe and warm out there!
Sincerely,
Kyla Kirtley
