Patriot Peek at the Week News
March 27th-31st
Dear Wolf Ridge Students and Families,
This coming week is our last week of school before spring break. Spring break will be April 3rd-10th. Students will resume school on Tuesday, April 11th. We hope to make the most of this last week of learning before our much anticipated break. Students in grades 3-7 worked so hard throughout this past week on the IAR state assessments. I am proud of their efforts.
Please plan on joining us for our K-5 Family Glow Night on Thursday, March 30th. We will have many fun learning activities set up in both the library and gym. Your family can come anytime between 5:30-7:00 to this open house style event. We will even have a special "glow stick" snack. We will have black lights set up for many of our glow activities. Wear white or neon to add to the fun!
On Friday, March 31st PFK will be hosting spring parties for K-5 classrooms and junior high will have their monthly incentive in the afternoon. Parties should not start any earlier than 1:30PM. We want our focus to be on learning throughout the day. Thank you to all of the parent volunteers that make these special events possible. HAPPY SPRING!

DISMISSAL AT WOLF RIDGE
All car riders should be picked up in the car line.
- This ensures that car traffic is in a different location from where our walk home students are dismissed.
- This allows our dismissal crew to ensure students are safely getting into the right vehicle.
- If you do not want to wait in the car line, please come to the school at 3:15 or 3:20 to pick up your child. You will be able to get right in the carline and right out quickly.
- We encourage parents picking up their child in the car line to not start lining up until after 2:30. We do not begin dismissal until 3:00.
Walk home students should be walking to their home on the sidewalk.
- Walk home students should not be picked up by a vehicle just inside or outside our front entry. This causes more traffic that becomes a hazard for students that actually do walk home. There are signs posted indicating "No Parking" during certain times of the day for arrival and dismissal.
- For safety reasons, it is important that we know how your child is getting home. Please do not state that they are walking home if they are not actually walking home.
Drop off in the morning should be at the car line entrance from 7:30-8:10. Students arriving tardy after 8:10 are the only ones that should be dropped off at the front entrance.
