Students will be dismissed at 1:05pm and

Buses will be running on an early release schedule for afternoon drop-offs.

The HMS PTA would like to send our HMS teachers and staff into Winter Break with some Holiday Cookies & Treats and we need your help. We'd like to collect a variety of cookies/treats, please click on the link below to sign-up to donate your favorite holiday treat.

Lost and Found is Overflowing

Is your student missing a coat, jacket, hoodie, water bottle, lunch kit? Chances are that it is in the Cafeteria Lost and Found Bin. Please ask your student to check for lost items this week. All items remaining in the bins after Tuesday, 12/19/2023 will be donated to the LISD Clothes Closet.

Student Check-out Procedures:

If you need to check-out your student prior to the end of the school day, please be sure to bring proper identification and present it to the receptionist. Once we have verified your identity, we will send a pass for the student to meet you at the front office.

Please note:

  • This process could take up to 15 minutes or more, depending on the time of day. Please be sure to allow extra time for delays should they occur.

  • We cannot have your child waiting for you in the office prior to your arrival.

  • If you are checking students out at the end of the day, please try to arrive prior to 4:05 PM. Due to time constraints, we may not be able to get your student checked out and to the office prior to the 4:20 PM bell if arriving after that time.
