Socktober
We are completely blown away by how successful Socktober was this year. We collected almost 3,000 socks! Every single school in our district is receiving a big bag of socks to distribute to their families in need. Our winning grade with 633 socks is… 5th Grade! Congratulations! Enjoy your well-deserved extra recess with Mr. Sackett! Thank you to everyone who participated in Socktober.
Keep an eye out for information regarding our 4th annual Warm A Heart Gift Drive in the next coming weeks.

Free Student Meals for the 2022-23 School Year!
Due to a new state rule, Mukilteo School District will provide free meals for ALL of the students attending Mukilteo Elementary without collecting applications beginning this September. A school’s qualification for the program, called Community Eligibility Provision, is based on the percentage of families with students attending that school who participate in state-funded assistance programs such as SNAP, WIC, etc. The data comes from the state database of assistance program participation.

We were honored to be one of three schools in the state of Washington designated as a School of Excellence last year. We are once again participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program because we are committed to maintaining and growing partnerships between our PTSA and our school to continue to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students.
We need your help! As part of the process, National PTA requests feedback from families, administrators and teachers at two points in the school year—the beginning and the end. Your feedback will help us improve our family-school partnership and achieve excellence.
This survey is completely anonymous. Please return this survey to your student’s teacher or to the ME PTSA President mailbox in the M.E. office by Thursday, November 10th. You may also choose to take the survey online.
