I hope this email finds you well and looking forward to some family time over the long weekend. To start of the November family update, I wanted to take a moment to express our school's thankfulness for our school families. We are so lucky to work with family partners that celebrate student success with us and also problem solve together. I can speak for all of our staff when I say that your children are what make this career field rewarding. Thank you for sharing them with us. :)
To welcome staff pack to their PD day on Monday, I would like your help with sharing the thankfulness. Sometime before Sunday - it would be so helpful if you could share a quick thankful note on this google form. I will print them out and share with staff on Monday. What a great welcome back to the longer weeks between Thanksgiving and Winter break.
If your house is anything like ours, illness seems to be something that we just can't escape. Our doctor shared that families will likely see an increased wave of common illnesses as we have a more normal year. Encouraging hand washing, getting enough sleep, and staying home when sick helps keep everyone as healthy as we can be!
Please help remind your child that unless their classroom has a special share day, toys are not something we bring to school. They cause issues on the playground and run the risk of being lost.
