* Great news...Mrs. Marissa Kusek, RN, has accepted the nurse position here at Emma Miller. She comes to us with many years of experience as a school nurse in Pittsfield and is also an Air Force veteran. We believe that she will be a perfect fit into our school family. She will begin on Monday, Nov. 28th and her email will be mkusek@savoyelementary.com.

* Robocall System - On Wednesday afternoon I sent a robocall to all families and staff using our new system. We are aware that the sound quality and speed were not ideal, so we are working with the company to make improvements. Also, please let me know if you didn't receive the call or if you would like to change or add numbers to the system, and we'd be happy to do so. Thank you.

* Pajama Day is Tuesday, Nov. 22nd and is a full day of school. The Thanksgiving break will be Nov. 23rd - 25th.

* Aftercare payments are due today for attendance during the week of 11/14-11/118.

Planning Ahead:

* There is a half day of school on Thursday, Dec. 8th for parent/teacher conferences. Please contact your student's teacher, if you have not yet scheduled a time. Thank you.

Health & Safety Updates:

* We still have plenty of COVID tests, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need any.
