Apollo Families,

I hope you all are well and have had a fantastic summer. As we prepare for the new school year, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Connor Christensen and I am the new Apollo Principal. I am fortunate to call the Goddard community my home. My wife, Emily, teaches at Explorer Elementary School and together we have Kenlee, who will be 2 in October. I started my teaching career in Kindergarten here at Apollo where I spent five years before moving to 3rd Grade for a year. I then made the transition to Administration, spending one year as the Assistant Principal at Vermillion Elementary School in Maize.

I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to return home. It is truly a dream come true. During my time at Apollo, I created some very special bonds and relationships with students, staff, and families. I look forward to continuing to develop those relationships and forging new connections with each of you and our greater Goddard community!

Over the years, Apollo has always been a pillar of success and pride. The school as a whole has received much recognition, most recently being nationally recognized by Capturing Kids Hearts and Project Lead the Way. When I think about the foundation of such success, three things come to mind: 1) dedicated & passionate staff, 2) students who love to come to school, & 3) families who buy-in and go above and beyond to support us.
