Broad Run's School Newsletter for March, 2021
Principal's Message
BRHS Families,
Spring is here, as is the 4th quarter of our school year. We have implemented the Hybrid Model and Con-Current teaching since March. Our students and teachers are working hard in this model and learning much. We are looking forward to expanding the model per school board direction on April 20.
We are also planning for the 2021-2022 school year. Please check your course requests in ParentVue/StudentVue. You may contact your counselor with any changes or questions. We will need to be certain in our course selections by May 1.
Congratulation to our DECA students on their participation and performance in State Leadership Conference. Also, congrats to our Theatre students on a wonderful play production, ‘That Sinking Feeling’ which was seen at our local drive in The Alamo. Our competition cheer team are District Champions again, and congrats to all our fall sports senior athletes who continue to excel! Jordan Codella was selected by the VMEA as a Senior Award Winner. Our students continue to excel and represent BRHS well.
Seniors and parents/guardians should continue to check the BRHS web site under class of 2021 for updates. We are planning for a in -person all class graduation on June 10 at 7 pm.
The last day of the 3rd quarter is April 9, and the end of the school year is June 15. Finish strong Spartans.
I hope everyone has a nice spring break.
Sincerely,
David Spage
