Nipmuc Spirit Wear Store - This store has general Nipmuc spirit gear.
Nipmuc Customizable Gear - This store has similar gear but also can be customized for the classes (i.e. Class of 2023, 2024, etc.) or for individual teams.
Nipmuc Dig Pink Gear - October is Breast Cancer Awareness month as signified by the pink merchandise. A number of our teams have a "pink game" to help raise awareness. Purchase your gear to support this important cause.
Safety Drill
Please be aware that on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:40am, we will be practicing a school safety drill with our students and staff. We are announcing this in advance so that students and families know to expect the drill. The drill will run from 10:40am until approximately 11:00am.
We will practice our lockdown protocols as well as barricading some classrooms to further secure the rooms in the event of an intruder in the building. Our drills will be run with support of Nipmuc School Resource Officer Ciara O'Connor and the Upton Police Department.
We recognize that these drills can bring out many emotions, even in a practice setting. Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can offer any support in preparation for the drill.

Lead Learner Workshop / Food for Thought Lunches
On Tuesday on October 18 we will host our first Lead Learner Workshop kick-off meeting for the 2022-2023 school year. There is still time to sign up - please make sure you sign up for tomorrow's event by 5pm tonight. The first Food for Thought Lunch will follow on October 28.
Lead Learner Workshop - These hour-long workshops are Nipmuc’s most important leadership opportunities in which students and teachers work together to design the future of our school. Help us to build a new vision of success and come to share your ideas, feedback and collaborate with us. These take place in the PDC from 2:10pm-3:10pm and you can find the list of dates on the form below.
Food for Thought Lunches - These student feedback forums provide teachers and administrators with the chance to hear directly from students about what’s working and how we can make the student experience at Nipmuc the best it can be. They usually include 15-18 students, 3 - 4 teachers, and the school principals. In the past years, we’ve been able to meet with hundreds of Nipmuc students in these sessions. These collaborative events take place during lunch block and you can find the list of dates on the form below.
Sign up using THIS FORM for these upcoming opportunities or to take part in Lead Learner Workshops or Food for Thought Lunches in the future! We will look forward to seeing you there.
The Countdown is On - Online Tickets are on Sale Now!
The Nipmuc Drama Guild is hard at work as they prepare for their fall production of She Kills Monsters that they will perform on Halloween weekend (October 28 @ 7pm and October 29 @ 2:30pm and 7pm).
Starting today drama students will begin to use lighting, sound and costumes as they get closer to the performance. Next week beginning Monday, October 24 is considered full tech week. The drama students will have their wireless microphones live during this time and all of the sets will be finished as they will be in costume with mandatory rehearsals. The drama guild could use as many adult volunteers to help backstage as possible for both of these weeks. Please email Tam Johnson, Director at tjohnson@mursd.org if you would be available to help out.
Families and students can begin purchasing tickets online by clicking here. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. There will also be tickets for sale the same day at the door but seat selection may be limited. Purchase your tickets today!
Nipmuc Halloween Tradition Continues
Halloween became a tradition at Nipmuc over the years. It is a day where students and faculty can showcase their creativity and imagination with their costumes and have some fun dressing up and trick-or-treating. The candy and goodies are ready to go and we look forward to all students joining in on the fun on October 31. This year trick or treating will take place outside (weather permitting) during the scheduled advisory time. Similar to last year, students will visit each department in the courtyard for some candy and fun treats.
