Dear Parents/Carers of Carleton Park,
We hope this message finds you well and that you've had a wonderful week. Thank you for your continued support in making each week at Carleton Park J & I School truly fantastic!
This week has been particularly thrilling for our pupils, filled with engaging events and exciting opportunities. Here are some highlights from the past week:
1. Year 3/4 Mayan Workshop (Wednesday): Our Year 3 and 4 pupils had an incredible experience at the Mayan Workshop on Wednesday. This interactive session allowed them to delve into the rich history and culture of the Mayan civilization. We believe such experiences contribute significantly to their holistic development.
2. KS2 Active Maths Competition at Carleton High (Wednesday After School): A group of our Key Stage 2 students participated in the Active Maths competition at Carleton High after school on Wednesday. It's heartening to see our students’ embracing challenges and showcasing their mathematical prowess in a dynamic and active environment.
3. KS2 Cross Country Event (Today): Today, our Key Stage 2 students participated in a thrilling Cross Country event. We are immensely proud of their determination, sportsmanship, and the effort they put into the race. These events not only promote physical fitness but also teach valuable life skills.
We are continuously impressed by how our pupils rise to the challenges they face, demonstrating resilience and enthusiasm in their learning journey.
Upcoming Class Assemblies: Next week marks the beginning of our Class assemblies. Each class has been working diligently to prepare a showcase-style assembly, providing a glimpse into the educational experiences our pupils have had throughout the previous term. These assemblies are a wonderful opportunity for you to witness the growth and achievements of your child.
We encourage you to attend these assemblies to celebrate the achievements of our pupils and gain insights into their educational journey.
Once again, thank you for your ongoing support. We look forward to sharing more exciting moments and achievements as we continue to nurture and inspire our children.
Warm regards,
Mr Ayre
Headteacher
