Dear Oak Ridge Families,
Oak Ridge elementary students were surprised by Mr. Thomas's FFA students when they visited classrooms to spread some joy with new baby chicks! Mrs. Lewis's Leadership Class has also been helping students with classwork. We appreciate these role models for our younger students! Click the picture to the right to access a library with pictures and videos of students with baby chicks.

Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade will attend a field trip to Begg's farm on October 13th. The bus will leave at 8:30AM and return at 2:30PM. Permission slips have been sent home. Please contact the office if you need a permission slip. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade field trips for this year are currently being planned. Please remember to have students dress appropriately. Students will not need to bring food or money. We will take care of lunches.
PTO will host the annual Trunk or Treat on October 30th from 2:00-3:30PM. Set up will begin at 1:00pm. Contact Ashley Seyer (573-275-6687) or Ashley Pilz (573-986-1462) with questions.
Please feel free to reach out if you have questions, need help with school supplies, or need resources to help students be successful at school.
Enjoy the weekend with your family!
Sincerely,
Sonia Wood
