Good News! Vaccination Clinics at LASD!
We are partnering with the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department to bring vaccine clinic right to our schools. COVID-19 vaccine is the best protection against COVID-19. When your child is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, it protects your child, your family, your friends, our school, and the whole community.
The COVID-19 vaccine clinics will offer shots FREE to all students ages 5 and older and their family members at:
Where: Santa Rita Multi
Date: Monday, January 3, 2022
Time: 3:00pm - 7:00 pm
Getting vaccinated at these clinics at the schools is optional, but we hope you take advantage of this convenient service.
Parents or guardians must give their consent for a child to get the vaccine, and must be present. All students and their families are welcome regardless of immigration status. You do not need health insurance. Nurses will be available to answer your questions. The County will have staff who can speak to you in both Spanish and English.
Please review these materials:
* What to Expect: COVID-19 Shots for Children Ages 5-11 (Spanish)
* Frequently Asked Questions for Parents (Spanish)
* Vaccine Registration Form (can be accessed here or completed at the clinic in person) (Spanish)
* How Fill Out Your Child's Forms: Step by Step (Spanish)
For questions about the vaccine clinic, contact (408) 970-2000. For more locations to get vaccinated, visit sccfreevax.org.
Here’s to the health and safety of all of our Santa Rita Bobcats!

LASD is seeking new volunteers to join the team! In coming months, the WC will evaluate new comprehensive sexuality curriculum options to be compliant with California’s California Healthy Youth Act, also known as AB 329.
Members of the WC are expected to attend 5-6 meetings over the next several months.
Please email Erin Green, Director of Student and Staff Services, at egreen@lasdschools.org, for more information or if you are interested.
A description of the upcoming curriculum study is outlined below.
Tuesday, January 11, 3:30-5pm online
The WC will study AB 329, The California Healthy Youth Act, as well as existing curriculum options that comply with AB 329.
Tuesday, February 1 and February 15th 3:30-5pm online
The WC will participate in two in-depth reviews of available curriculum options and evaluate each against an established criteria.
