Blair Oaks High School - August 2, 2018
Welcome from Dr. Aholt
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Blair Oaks High School! I hope your summer vacation was filled with fun and that you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. This will be a very exciting and productive school year. Students will experience an incredible amount of growth and have many opportunities for great accomplishments and success throughout the year.
As we enter this new school year, I want to let you know that our staff will be engaging in conversations around having a growth mindset, both for themselves and all students. We believe that every person in this building should always be growing and learning. Despite obstacles that may arise, we must always believe in our ability to rise above challenges and come out stronger on the other end.
Each year brings positive change. This includes a few additions to our staff:
- Mrs. Jayme Eichholz will teach Business.
- Mr. Ted Lepage will teach Strength and Conditioning as well as be Blair Oaks Head Football Coach.
- Mrs. Tammy Newman will be our ITV Facilitator. Last year, she was one of our paraprofessionals.
- Ms. Haylee Rethmen will be teaching Spanish.
- Ms. Nicole Ulmer will be teaching Instrumental Music and music appreciation.
- Kelsey Kliethermes will be a paraprofessional.
It remains an honor and privilege to serve as your principal. Over the past year, I have had a chance to meet many of you, and look forward to continue building a strong relationship with all of you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions or comments. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all students.
