• The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, October 7th from 8-11pm at the BHS Cafeteria. The court will be presented at approximately 9:30pm.

• Formal attire is required - this means no jeans or shorts. However, it is a glow party, so you are encouraged to wear white or neon colors that will glow under black light.

• Admission is $5.00 per person at the door.

• All out of school dates that have been approved by Mr. Marshall will need to have a photo ID to enter the dance.

Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day or any student that needs his/her picture retaken.

If you are having a picture taken as a RETAKE, please make sure your student returns their package in its entirety, including the package insert sheet, to the photographer on retake day. (Feel free to attach a note to describe what you’d like us to do differently.)

Senior Retakes will be on Thursday, January 11th.

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Your district is taking part in the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey. Results from this survey will be used as part of the school improvement review during the 2023-2024 academic year. As part of this process, parents, students, and school employees are asked to voluntarily answer surveys regarding programs and services available to students.

Please take a few minutes to answer the survey at the link provided. Responses from all parents will be anonymously summarized and will become part of a report for the school district. The school district will use this report in the development of school improvement efforts.

If you have more than one child in school, you will receive more than one survey link. Please complete a survey for each individual child. Do not complete one survey for multiple children. The surveys will be processed so that school officials receive reports about each building in the district.

The questionnaires contain demographic and opinion questions. You have the option not to respond to any item or not to complete a survey at all.

The Class of 2024 Project Graduation BBQ Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, October 22 at the Wardsville Lions Club. Tickets are $12 and you choose Pork Steak or Brat with coleslaw and beans. The Patriot Tree is named Leon’s Patriot Tree to honor a local fallen Marine hero, Leon Deraps. Blair Oaks is called upon to honor our veterans by donating itemsand/or making monetary donations starting on October 11th.

Please plan to make a donation to support our troops and brighten their holiday season while they protect and defend us. This is the Blair Oaks' Community's opportunity to show our appreciation for their sacrifice and duty to our nation.

Due to a National blood shortage, blood donors are urgently needed to ensure patients continue to receive critical medical care.
