Let’s see which grade reads the most books this November. Once you finish a book, stop by the library and add a sticker to your class feather on the giant turkey by the library entrance! Let’s see who can fill up their feathers first! Staff are encouraged to participate too!

This month take a guess at the number of puzzle pieces in the jar. The person with the closest guess will win a new puzzle and a sweet treat!

Guessing starts November 1st. The last day to guess is Thursday, November 16th, and the winner will be announced on Friday, November 17th!

Are you interested in Battle of the Books this year? It’s not too late to join! Stop by the library or send Mrs. Gee an email to let her know that you would like to participate.

At the round table as you enter the library grab a leaf and begin your hunt. If you find the identical leaf that matches yours, bring them both to Mrs. Gee to receive a treat.

(Hint: There will be a letter on the back so you know if your leaf matches)

Grab a coloring page of a turkey when you visit the library. Color it to look like a favorite book character. Once you finish disguising your turkey, give it to Mrs. Gee to hang up and display outside of the library!

The Book Fair will take place in the library from November 13th - 17th throughout the school day. Do you need volunteer hours? High School Students can sign up in the Library Media Center to volunteer during their study hall.

The High School Book Drive runs from October 30th - November 10th!

Omro Public Library: If you don’t have a library card make sure to stop by the public library to sign up for one so you have access to even more books!

Little Free Library:

Don’t forget about the Little Free Library located outside the Main School Entrance. The books inside are free for you to take and keep! You can also donate any books you no longer want.
