Happy last Thursday of September and beginning of Fall! The cool mornings and warm afternoons create days of many sweatshirts and jackets left on the playground. In the "school world" that is the first clue to let us know that Autumn is here! Please check the Lost and Found often for forgotten clothes.

Thank you to everyone who has been so willing to work with our new Parking Lot procedures. It has really helped keep our students safe.

Witches' Delight has been a Santa Rita tradition going strong for more than 60 years! It is one of Santa Rita's largest and most loved events, but it can not happen without your support. Sign up for a quick shift to help out! in between enjoying carnival rides, games and the famous cake walk. Want to get a little more in the action- join the Witches' Delight Team for a fun and rewarding experience!

This week is LAEF’s Fall Fundraising Night. You may receive a text or call from LASD staff or a parent volunteer encouraging you to donate to LAEF and support our schools this year. Your donation will help fund STEM, computer science, physical education (PE), art, music, library, junior high electives, and mental health counseling services. Thank you to those who have already given this school year!

Giving to LAEF is the only way for parents to help fund LASD teaching staff in our district. View a financial chart and see exactly how your donation will be spent this year.

The Computer Engineers of the Next Generation Team is excited to offer a new session of coding classes in October 2023 on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4:15 - 5:45 pm in Scratch, JavaScript, Python. Our Roblox class is only offered on Saturdays. All our online coding classes are taught by trained high school students. Students will learn the basics of coding which culminate to a final game project.

El equipo de Ingenieros en Computación del Equipo de Próxima Generación se complace en ofrecer una nueva sesión de clases de codificación en octubre de 2023 los miércoles y sábados de 4:15 a 5:45 p. m. en Scratch, JavaScript, Python. Nuestra clase de Roblox solo se ofrece los sábados. Todas nuestras clases de codificación en línea son impartidas por estudiantes de secundaria capacitados. Los estudiantes aprenderán los conceptos básicos de codificación que culminarán en un proyecto de juego final.
