This year, Miller is partnering with Dude Perfect and Boosterthon to help raise funds for things like Project Lead the Way, Buddy Fun Day, and the WISE Prize Cart. I hope you’ve seen the information about the upcoming Miller Dance Fit fundraiser for our school that kicks off on 02/26/2024! We’re excited for this year’s fitness and character-building fundraiser! The school’s goal is to raise $12,000 to continue the programs and activities that make Miller special!

The 3rd Nine Weeks District Assessment window will be February 27th- March 9th for all 2nd-5th grade students. The district assessments in 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade will serve as a benchmark/practice STAAR test on the following days:
February 27th--3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Reading
February 29th--5th Grade Science
March 5th--3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Math
Breakfast will be served as normal at 7:35 and testing will begin at 8:00. Please ensure students are at school on time and please try to avoid scheduling doctor/dentist appointments on these testing days. These tests will not count for a grade but will help familiarize students with the test and will provide teachers with important data to ensure students are prepared and ready for the state exams later in the spring!

Walking Wednesdays with parents will be discontinued for the months of January and February. We understand that parents appreciate advanced notice about cancellations, however that can be challenging with the unpredictable winter weather. If the weather permits, students will continue to go outside for PE and parent Walking Wednesdays will continue when warmer temperatures return!
It's never too late to join our PTA for the 23-24 school year! Your PTA membership helps support our students and staff and gives you opportunities to get involved as much or as little as you want! You AND your student can join!
