Renberg Elementary Newsletter

Principal's Corner
Hello Renberg Parents and Guardians,
As our 2023/2024 school year wraps up, I want to thank you for all you do for our students and our school. Renberg ELementary is such a special school and a big reason for that is our families and students. I feel so privelaged to be a part of the Renberg family.
In these last few weeks of schools, our students either have gone on or will go on a field trip that has been provided by Promising Futures. This year, every student has received a book each month from Promising Futures. This organization has been an amazing support and blessing to our school. We are so grateful for all they do.
We still have a few activities coming up in the final weeks of school. Friday, May 10th from 9:00-11:00 is Field Day. All students will participate during this block of time. Monday May 13-Friday, May 17th, PTA will sponsor Think About Your Future Week. Thursday, May 23rd is the last day of school. We will have our 5th Grade Graduation Ceremoney at 9:00 that day. Parents and family members are welcome to attend.
Thank you for an amazing school year and I look forward to seeing you all in the fall!

News From the Nurse
It is hard to believe, but SUMMER IS NEAR!
If your child has medication in school, be advised that it must be picked up by a parent or guardian by Thursday May 23, 2024. It cannot be sent home with your student. Any medication remaining at school after 3pm on May 23rd, will be destroyed unless you have made special arrangements with the nurse.
In order to have everything in place for the beginning of the school year, I have attached the link where you can find our medication forms. Each year a new form needs to be completed if your student will need medication in school. The appropriate forms need to be filled out and signed by both your physician and the parent/guardian. The forms can be provided to you by the school, or accessed using the following link, https://www.sf.k12.sd.us/page/health-services
