Principal's Message
Good afternoon CHS students and families,
I want to start by thanking everyone who was able to make it to conferences last night. The turnout was amazing! It was wonderful to connect with so many students and families. If you weren’t able to attend, please feel free to reach out to teachers.
Also yesterday, we participated in the Great American Shake Out. We continue to practice our safety protocols to make sure that we are ready in case of an emergency. Our staff and students did a great job taking cover and exiting the building.
This continues to be a busy season for our students with so many activities to help them engage in their schooling and explore their interests. Please enjoy the photos below of volleyball senior night, our American Sign Language Club, our Chess Club, and our Cultural Dance Club. These highlight just a few of the various activities where our students shine.
Lastly, I would like to spotlight a couple of future events. On Tuesday, October 31, we will be administering the ACT and Pre-ACT tests to our freshman-juniors. Please see below for more information. Because we will be testing on October 31, CHS will be observing Halloween on Monday, October 30. Students are welcome to dress up. There is more information regarding Halloween dress up below as well.
Have a wonderful week!
Best,
Cari Sloan
