Snow Day Notifications
With possible snow in the forecast for next week, a reminder of how we will send snow day notifications:
I will do my best to give everyone as much notice as possible if school will be closed or if we are sending students home early. I will send a voice call, text message, email, and it will be on Facebook and the school's app. If you are not getting notifications, that means we may not have your current information in our system. Please contact the office at (573) 369-2375 ext. 100 or mbarnhart@tuscumbialions.k12.mo.us to update your contact information.
Thank you,
Dr. Spencer

Principal's Corner
Dear Parents and Community Members,
Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a wonderful break filled with relaxation, family time, and good food. It’s crazy to say this, but welcome to the second semester! It has been great seeing students back in the building this week! Grades from the first semester have been submitted and will be sent out this next week. Please be on the lookout for these and reach out to your student’s teacher if you have any questions.
If you have a student in grades K-6, please make sure they are coming to school with a coat. Students should be going outside for recess if there is NO precipitation happening (rain, snow, etc.) and if the temperature and/or feels like temperature is above 35 degrees. If you have a genuine need for a coat for your student, please reach out to the school as we have resources to assist with this.
As you are probably already aware, there is a possibility for snow early next week. In the event that school will need to close due to weather, a voice call, text, and Facebook post will be made. We are watching the weather closely, and a decision will be made as early as possible if school needs to close.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I am always willing to help however I can. Happy holidays!
Sincerely,
Kyla Kirtley
Principal
