WELCOME KINDERGARTEN!! ✏️✂️🍎
CAR LINE TIPS 🚗
Here are some car line tips for new folks :)
Morning Drop Off
- Pull your car all the way around to the last pole to drop off your child
- Have your child seated on the passenger side so they can get off on the sidewalk
- Try not to exit your vehicle if possible. This slows down our car line tremendously
- 7:15 is earliest students can be dropped off in the morning. They can go eat breakfast or sit in the cafeteria until 7:30 when they go to their hallways at their class.
Afternoon Pick Up
- Have a car tag hanging in your vehicle. If you do not have a car tag, please let your child's teacher know or please come by the office.
- Patience is key :) With our new kindergarten friends, car line is going to be slower than normal this week. Thank you for working with us and being patient!

Open House 🏠
Tuesday, September 19th from 5:30 -7 PM
We will be having our Open House on Tuesday, September 19th from 5:30 - 7 PM. Football and cheerleading practices have been canceled that evening so all of our families may attend! (thank you Bethel Youth for working with us :) There will be door prizes and we are working on a possibility of having food for sale that night if you don't want to cook! More info. TBA. There will be an important meeting at 5:30 in the gym for all families. The Center PIgeon Fire Department is going to help park cars since we hope to have an amazing turn out! We will be sending home more information in September, but mark your calendars!!
Bethel Elementary Night at BMS Football Game 🏈
Bethel Middle School has invited Bethel Elementary to their ballgame on Thursday, September 7th at 4:30 pm at their new turf field! BES students get in free! Come support the BMS football team and cheerleaders as they play Waynesville Middle. Go Bethel Blue Demons!! 💙
Attention to Attendance 🕘
Unfortunately, we have seen some strep throat and of course with a school our size, students are sometimes going to get sick. Please know that our custodians are cleaning daily and your children's teachers take every precaution to keep your children healthy and safe. Our goal this year is to have better attendance and fewer tardies and checkouts. Of course, if your child is sick, they don't need to be at school, but please make sure to have them here unless they are sick. Also, we have noticed an upswing in doctor's appointments, dentist appointments and other checkouts and tardies...I'm a mom and totally understand that sometimes these appointments have to be made during the school day, but please help your child be successful this year by keeping them to a minimum.
Thanks for your help with this!!!
