Welcome back to school and welcome 2022! Hopefully you and your families had a restful holiday break. We are excited to get back to learning.

If your student has COVID-19, someone in your home has COVID-19 or if your student has been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, PLEASE let us know. 744-4777 ext. 2032.

Masks/facial coverings are strongly recommended, not required. The assumption will be that families communicate their expectations to their child regarding the wearing of a mask or facial covering while at school. As it is a family decision, school staff will not be responsible for individual student expectations regarding the wearing of a mask/face covering.

School Bus Riders: The Federal Mask Mandate for Transportation was extended through March 18. This federal mandate includes school buses. It is not an option for school districts; the mask mandate is a federal requirement. Therefore, if your student is choosing to ride a school bus, then a mask is required through March 18 unless the federal mandate is rescinded.

We have our own food pantry onsite that we share with RPI. If you would like access to our pantry please reach out to your child's teacher or our office staff. We are here to help!

New year, new opportunities! We are starting the new year off with a Reading Calendar Grand Prize! Any student who completes the January calendar will be entered into a grand prize drawing! Challenge yourself to read as much as you can. Also, don't forget to fill out the form for December's calendar. We love to celebrate the effort put in by all of our students!

Families,

This time of year brings with it several situations that we need to plan for and talk to our kids about. It is really important that our students wait at bus stops in the morning do so in a safe location. It is dark in the morning and this past week we had to navigate our roads during inclement weather. This combination makes it difficult to see our students as they wait for their busses. Please encourage your children to wait at a safe distance from the street for their bus.

There have been instances this school year where students are out of school for extended periods of time. If your child is going to be out for more that three days please communicate this to our transportation department. They can be reached at 744-4777 ext. 2411

Reeths-Puffer Play and Learn is happy to be offering in person play and learn and take and go book kits this year.
