During January, we take special pride in thanking our Bastrop ISD School Board Members. These seven individuals serve a three-year term and help shape and guide the direction of BISD. We thank them for the countless hours they serve and the great work they continue to do for our students and staff.
We will honor our School Board at the Board of Trustees meeting on January 23rd.

The Multilingual Department would like to invite parents of Emergent Bilingual students to a meeting about the state assessments, TELPAS and STAAR. We would like to provide information, helpful tips and answer any questions you may have.

STEM Girl Day at UT Austin
Elementary and middle school students, families, and educators are invited to join UT Austin on February 24 for FREE hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fun on The University of Texas at Austin campus. UT Austin’s national award-winning STEM Girl Day recruitment program, presented by Women in STEM (WiSTEM), gives K-8th graders a chance to:
- Explore STEM through hands-on activities and engaging demonstrations.
- Interact with over 150 organizations and 1,500 role models including STEM students, faculty, and industry professionals.
- Explore STEM programs and spaces at The University of Texas at Austin.
